Organisation Mondiale pour l’Education Prescolaire (OMEP)
OMEP-WC is the first collegiate chapter of OMEP in the world. Advocating for children’s rights fits well with Whittier College’s emphasis on social justice, arising from the institution’s Quaker heritage, and with it’s historical and pioneering attention to children families through The Broadoaks Children’s School, which was established in 1906.
Members of OMEP Whittier College are ACTIVISTS promoting the health, rights, wellbeing, and education of the world’s children, especially those enduring poverty, war, abandonment, or natural disaster … locally, nationally, and internationally.
