An understanding of current environmental issues requires knowledge of biological, chemical and physical natural science processes. As such, the purpose of this course is to introduce you to patterns and processes in the natural world and provide you an overview of how these patterns and processes are modified by humans. We will cover a wide variety of environmental science issues at a moderate level of intensity and introduce you to several topics, many of which you could explore in greater depth in higher-level courses.
