This one-unit, topical class will focus on (1) child advocacy and
activism; (2) children’s rights, and (3) a selected global
children’s issue. Students in this course automatically become part
of an existing child advocacy group on campus, OMEP-Whittier
College. Because the topics for this course, as well as OMEP’s
priorities and activities, vary from semester to semester, this
course may be repeated for credit.
