Issues in Urban Education
In this course, students will learn about both historical and contemporary issues in public school education, which have led to opportunity and achievement gaps in historically underrepresented groups. Students will examine schooling experiences of Latino(a)s, African Americans, and Multilingual learners (ELs) in K-12 settings.
