Welcome to Senior Seminar!
This course supports students working on their senior projects by providing a designated time each week to discuss your research and complete your literature reviews with my support and with the support of your peers. Soc/Anth 407 is a pre-requisite for Soc/Anth 408, Senior Seminar.
The goals of this course are simple and straightforward: to provide structure and support for the independent work you are doing on your senior project and to ensure that you complete your literature review by the end of the fall. Most meetings will be one-on-one with me, cheering you on and helping you think through your ideas, but also with each other outside of our regularly scheduled class time. You will build your literature review step-by-baby step—this will seem like a daunting project but you will be amazed at your own untapped ability to get this done and, even, to enjoy the process!
