ENGL-103-01: Better Living Through Media Li-202209

This course begins with the premise that we are suffering through epistemological crisis in this country media that is tied to media illiteracy, and which poses an existential threat to our democracy, wellbeing and future. Furthermore, this course posits that improved media literacy is critical to staving off those threats and pointing us towards a more functional and sustainable path.

We will test those premises in this class and come to our own conclusions while laying a foundation for media literacy going forward.
