Agricultural supply chains are the backbone of society, yet they are faced with numerous environmental, social, and economic challenges. Although each agricultural sector faces their own unique set of obstacles, it is often the farming communities who are the most vulnerable and bear the greatest risk. This course examines the importance for achieving sustainable and resilient supply chains for one of the most well-known agricultural products, coffee. The overarching goal of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the sustainability challenges and opportunities facing coffee supply chains.
