Welcome to Toxic Tours!

Toxic Tours is an experiential research course that uses southern California as our research site. Students learn about the inequitable distribution of toxics and pollution in an urban environment. We will work in teams to visit impacted areas and to understand the issues at stake and the multiple origins and impacts of pollution in SoCal. We conclude with plans for reducing pollution and increasing well-being across the region. How do we create environmental justice for all?
