Mental and emotional wellness are important parts of balancing your academic experience. Counseling services for enrolled students are offered at no charge and will be offered remotely during periods of remote learning. When we return to campus, in person and remote/telehealth services will be offered. 

  • Schedule an appointment by emailing counselingcenter@whittier.edu or call 562-907-4239 (between 8am – 5pm; M-F). 
  • For support after 5pm, call the Virtual Care Group Crisis Line at 1-855-522-1226.
  • For mental health emergencies contact Campus Safety at 562-907-4211; Digital mental health platform at https://you.whittier.edu/  
  • Off-campus resources include:  The Crisis Text Line- text HELP to 741741; National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: Reachable 24/7 at 800.273.8255; additional resources can be found at: www.whittier.edu/counseling
