Experimental Physics is the senior lab course for physics majors. In this course, we will perform and analyze about one relatively short experiment per week. Some of the experiments we will perform have historical importance while others illustrate specific laboratory techniques and/or lecture material from other upper-division physics courses.

PHYS 135B is the second part of Phys 135 College Physics course which is designed for students who require a year of lab physics as part of a pre-health program. It constitutes a suitable year-long physics experience. PHYS 135 does not satisfy the Liberal Education ILS requirement. The topics covered in are selected so as to cover as much of MCAT physics content as possible. Consequently, there will be a significant amount of material that will be covered. The pace of the course, therefore, will be hasty. The general topics to be covered are: Geometrical Optics, Electricity, Magnetism, and Modern Physics. The labs will be incorporated to the lecture in a workshop format. For more info please visit: http://web.whittier.edu/physics/zorba/135Btitle.htm
